About the Cottage
Thick stone walls and a jolly red door will greet you upon arrival at Y Granar Coch. Step through into a cosy, thick walled stone cottage, nestled within part of a 17th century traditional Welsh longhouse.
The open plan living room has a comfortable sofa and settle, both gathered around a cosy log burner, and French doors leading to the garden.
A TV, DVD player and sound system are all provided, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The dining area, with farmhouse table to seat four, leads through to a small, well equipped kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs, the cottage has a cosy double bedroom, restfully nestled in the eaves.
The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds.
Downstairs is a well heated, comfortable bathroom with bath, basin and loo.
A sweet cottage garden awaits beyond the French doors, with views over the countryside towards the coastline of Cardigan Bay.
Enjoy lazing on the lawn or walk down through the fields to the River Erch, with brown trout fishing available.
Linen and towels are provided. We only ask if guests could strip their beds before leaving due to additional cleaning procedures re Covid. Please bring your own beach towels.
Wi-fi is provided and mobile phone network coverage is reasonable, available from GSM and 3G/4G signal access points.
Children of all ages are very welcome to stay with you at the cottage, however please note that we are not able to provide a cot or highchair.
Unfortunately pets are not able to stay at the cottage.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.

Things to Do
With more than 100 miles of largely undiscovered coastline and the stunning Snowdonia National Park within easy reach, the Lleyn Peninsula is a fabulous base for an active family holiday.
There are long stretches of sand to be found on the southern beaches, isolated crags and surfers bays on the northern coastline. It’s utter bliss for nature lovers, with seals a fairly regular sight for walkers along the coast path.
When you've tired of the beaches then head off to the hills for a whole new perspective on the countryside. There are "starter" hills on the Peninsula itself, or Snowdonia just a short drive away for summits to shout about...and a whole new way to tire out the children!
